The Rotorway kit comes with pieces of wood that the builder whittles to fit the ends of the main rotor blades. These wooden end plugs will absorb moisture differently from the one on the opposing blade and can thereby throw the main rotor system out of balance.

VP, LLC's Aluminum Main Rotor Tip End Plugs solve this problem by being of identical weight to eachother, cannot absorb moisture, and are threaded to allow for the installation of rotor balance weights used in the dynamic balancing of your helicopter's main rotor system.
