our own Ceramic coated Steel heat sheilds for the Rotorway engine exhaust
manifold. They install easily, provide a .025" air gap, and are both
duable and functional. Besides all of that, they are the best looking
heat sheilds you can purchase for your experimental helicopter.
The photo below shows a standard fabric-wrapped exhaust header off a Rotorway engine. The exhaust manifold to the right has the new Vertical Performance Systems, LLC Lightweight ceramic coated heat sheilds attached to the ceramic coated exhaust, eliminating the need for the fabric wrap.
