Vertical Performance Systems, LLC has paid for the design and engineering for every component shown on this web site and holds ownership of all intellectual property for each component In the photo below several of the Rotorway Helicopters that are in some stage of modification by the Vertical Performance Systems, LLC staff in one of our workshops. Pictured are two of the R&D ships and in the forground is one customer ship that is undergoing a total retrofit following the ship owner's unfortunate rollover with his Oklahoma-based flight instructor with the stock skids. That flight instructor lost his certificate as a result of this accident. The helicopter was nearly destroyed because the owner had considered but then decided against installing the new VPS extended and reinforced skids on his helicopter prior to his flight training. |

In the below photo 4 engines can be seen in tear down stages of the Vertical Performance Systems, LLC engine build process. These engines share the stock castings and crank but that is where the similarity ends. The new Vertical Performance Systems, LLC engines have new cylinder sleeves that will not suffer from the corrosion seen on the stock engines. They have new cams, push rods, roller rockers, custom valves, springs, retainers, and keepers. They also come with Vertical Performance Systems, LLC pistons, connecting rods, and bearings. The new Vertical Performance
Systems, LLC engine will require a check of the valve rocker lash only
once every 100 hours. |
